Who we are

We are WAO, a real estate company that designs, builds and runs spaces dedicated to contemporary working and living. Our vision is to create a network of places animated by people committed to building a better world: we do it by turning existing buildings into living, well-kept structures woven into the neighbourhood and the city.

We work with and for startups, scale-ups and new generations of workers who seek flexibility, connection and experience quality — not only in services but in everyday living. We're a young team (average age 33), growing fast, with a concrete, accountable, execution-driven approach.

The role

You'll be the reference point for everything around WAO's digital communication: we're not looking for someone to keep the socials running, but for someone who can build a media, a community, a lifestyle brand. From a single Reel to the monthly editorial plan, from paid campaigns to creator residencies, digital goes through you.

You'll report directly to the Marketing Manager, working closely with the Operations and Events teams.

Social media · the core of the role (about 70%)

  • Channels: Hands-on and strategic management of WAO's channels: Instagram (absolute priority), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook.
  • Editorial plan: Editorial planning of content, recurring formats, campaigns and the key moments of the WAO calendar.
  • Content production: Photos, videos, Reels and Stories produced on the field and in our spaces, with an eye on the brand.
  • Tone of voice: Developing and safeguarding WAO's tone of voice.
  • Creator residencies & trends: Creator residencies to widen reach, trend jacking and use of trending audio and formats.
  • Performance: Tracking reach, engagement and follower growth, optimising based on the data.
  • Coordination: Working with the events and F&B teams to amplify openings and key moments.

Brand strategy & identity (about 10%)

  • Brand identity: Working with management to convey WAO's values, positioning and brand identity consistently.
  • Telling our spaces: Supporting the storytelling of our spaces and proprietary formats, building a brand story that holds together over time.
  • Partnerships: Coordinating with cross-industry brand partners for communication synergies and digital co-branding.

Digital marketing & lead generation (about 20%)

  • Paid campaigns: Planning and running paid campaigns for coworking and coliving lead generation.
  • Sales support: Supporting the B2B and B2C sales teams through digital levers.
  • Reporting: Campaign performance analysis and monthly reporting.

Who we're looking for

  • Experience: 3–4 years in fast-moving startups or consumer brands that built a strong presence through digital and social.
  • Social media: A solid command of Instagram — it's the core of the role. Good knowledge of TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook.
  • Video content: Hands-on in producing Reels and vertical content, working with photographers and videomakers when needed.
  • Brand & TOV: You interpret and develop the tone of voice together with the team.
  • Paid: Command of Meta Ads; Google Ads is a plus.
  • Analytics: You can read data and build reporting.
  • Copywriting: Mainly fluent Italian; a good level of English is required.
  • Mindset: Independent, curious, ambitious. At ease on the field (events, photo sets, openings) and clear that social is a business tool, not just visibility.

The most important thing: you have to believe in what we're building. Come to our spaces, get to know the community, live WAO rather than watch it from the outside.

What we offer

  • Contract: Italian CCNL Commercio, aimed at a permanent hire.

  • Spaces & community: Beautiful spaces to work in every day and to shoot great content in, plus a community of startups, founders, artists, professionals and young professionals.
