Who we are

We are WAO, a real estate company that designs, builds and runs co-working and co-living spaces. The spaces we manage are the tool we use to deliver our mission: connecting people, cultures and stories.

Why this role exists

The Ops team is WAO's special-ops squad: it supports every other team, whatever it takes, to hit their goals. The immediate need is to absorb a heavy workload on the IT team: for the first 6 months you'll be staffed there, to run its operations, understand its flows and — as you gain confidence — make its processes ever leaner with AI.

What you'll do in Ops

  • Live the process (job rotation): You'll work first-hand in the roles to be automated, to deeply understand their dynamics and needs: mapping processes and operational bottlenecks, then implementing AI solutions (autonomous agents, ticketing automations, automated hardware onboarding…).
  • Problem solving across the company: Whenever there's an issue or an opportunity, the Ops team teams up with whoever needs support, bringing method, skills and energy to land the result quickly and well.
  • Technology enabler: You'll play a strategic role in rolling out AI across every business area, leveraging new technology to help teams reach their goals.

Who you are

  • AI Native: Degrees don't matter to us: you must use generative AI and automation tools (Make, Zapier, personal LLMs) as an extension of your arm.
  • Initiative & vision: You love solving problems and helping others, you read context well (business, organisational, human), you move entrepreneurially and you prioritise value over busywork.
  • Empathy & business acumen: You grasp company dynamics instantly, have strong business sense and relate brilliantly to very different stakeholders.

Behind the scenes: how the path works

To change the rules of the game you first have to know the field. The end goal is automation and scale, but the starting point takes pragmatism: the first 6 months are an onboarding supporting the IT team.

  • Earn your stripes in operations: You can't automate a process you've never lived. At first you'll do hands-on, manual work (setting up PCs and Macs, handling tickets, logistics issues in the buildings). Only by living the problem will you learn to solve it with AI.
  • On-site (100%): The first assignment involves directly managing the company fleet and the infrastructure of our physical spaces: being in the office every day is essential. We want someone who wants to live the company from the inside and breathe our culture.

What we offer

  • Contract: Curricular or extra-curricular 6-month internship, allowance between €600 and €800 per month.
  • Benefits: 20 meal vouchers per month of €8 each.
  • Environment: A context where your decisions have a real, measurable impact on the project's success.
