WAO
WAO is the OneDay Group startup specialised in designing, building and running smart, innovative co-working and co-living spaces. Born from the experience of the Group's 3 coworking buildings, WAO turns empty spaces into places full of life — an organic, vital part of the city and neighbourhood that host them.
- Our Vision: To create a network of places animated by people committed to building a better world.
- Our Mission: We turn spaces into places that express local identity, where people live, work and thrive, building community. We foster connections that drive collaboration, growth and social, cultural and economic value.
The project: Certosa District
Certosa District is our first residential project: 187 apartments, a park open to the neighbourhood and an event venue. Opening is planned for January 2027, and whoever joins now experiences the property from day one — when habits, processes and the tone of hospitality are all still to be built.
What you'll do
- Welcome, check-in and check-out: You welcome new arrivals, handle arrivals and departures, and make sure the first contact with the property is the right one.
- Reservations and contracts: You follow reservations, contracts and the related administrative paperwork, payments included.
- Residents' daily life: You orient new arrivals around the spaces and services and handle day-to-day requests.
- Coordination with operations and maintenance: You act as the bridge with the internal teams so that reported issues don't stop at the front desk.
- First-level complaint handling: You listen, solve what you can solve, and know when and to whom to escalate.
- Front desk and common-area coverage: You cover front desk shifts and keep an eye on the common areas.
Who we're looking for
- Some experience behind you: Even a little, as long as it's real: hospitality, front office, customer service or retail all work.
- Italian and English: Both are required. Other languages are a real plus: residents come from all over the world.
- Empathy and composure: You like being around people and you keep your composure when the day gets complicated.
- Comfortable with booking systems: You use booking systems without hesitation. Knowing Mews or Opera is a plus.
